2019 PBA Opening Day

We are just a few days away from opening our milestone 25th season at the Prairie Baseball Academy! A quarter century worth of college baseball players who have come through this program. Anyone who has been a part of the Prairie Baseball Academy: players, coaches, volunteers, parents and family members should all be extremely proud of how far we’ve come! The coaching staff and board of directors cannot thank you enough, and we are excited to get back on the field for year 25!

If for whatever reason you are still interested in attending PBA and haven’t been in touch with the coaching staff please do ASAP.
Contact us via email: pba@telusplanet.net or by phone: 403-320-1302.

Players will be fitted for turfs, cleats and clothing. The whole registration and fitting process will take about an hour and a half.

On-Field Workout

All players will be put through a workout following registration.

Workout will include: 60yd dash, infield/outfield defense, pitcher bullpens and full on-field batting practice.

The coaching staff expects all players to be ready to showcase their skills on opening day. If you have an existing injury that may affect your performance make sure to let the coaching staff know prior to the workout.

Following the workout there will be a BBQ for the whole program. Parents are encouraged to stick around for the workout and BBQ!

Fall Schedule

We are very close to finalizing the fall schedule. The coaching staff is very excited to be hosting the College of Southern Idaho in Lethbridge October 12/13. Every year PBA plays CSI down south, but this will be the first time they have come up here. CSI is a perennial powerhouse as far as American Junior Colleges go, including winning the Juco World Series in 2017.

As soon as the rest of the schedule is finalized we will have it posted on the website and our social media outlets.

Again, thank you for your support of the Prairie Baseball Academy. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at 403-320-1302 or PBA@telusplanet.net.
