PBA Opening Day

08/19/2015 8:12 AM -

We are just under three weeks away from kicking off another PBA baseball season. After winning their fifth straight CCBC Championship in 2015 the Dawgs will look to defend their championship for an unprecedented 6th straight year in the spring. Sunday marked another milestone for the Prairie Baseball Academy and the Lethbridge community. The Lethbridge Bulls won their first ever WMBL Championship with the help of 14 former or current Dawgs players on the roster. Congratulations to all players who were involved!

This year the PBA will start on September 7th. Players will need to be at Lloyd Nolan Yard at 11:00am for registration. Following registration there will be a workout on the field at noon, so players are asked to have all of their gear ready to go for day 1.  The cost for the fall is $2960 and cheques can be made out to the Prairie Baseball Academy. Players are asked to have their fall fees on September 7th for registration.

As is the case every year parents are more than welcome to stick around for the afternoon. After the workouts are complete there will be a barbeque with burgers and corn on the cob for players and family members. The coaching staff at PBA is looking forward to another great year of Dawgs baseball and the road for six straight championships begins September 7th! Check back soon for an updated calendar featuring the full fall schedule.
