The Prairie Baseball Academy will be hosting the 24th annual Celebration of Baseball Banquet, which will be held on February 2nd at the Lethbridge Lodge. The banquet is a chance for PBA to acknowledge the accomplishments of our players both on the field and in the classroom.

This year, PBA Alumni Lars Davis will be guest speaking at the banquet. The coaching staff is proud of every one of the players who move on from this program, but Davis has done exceptional things since accepting his scholarship to the Univeristy of Illinois out of PBA. Following three standout years at Illinois, Davis was taken in the third round of the MLB Entry Draft by the Colorado Rockies in 2007. After spending six seasons in the minor leagues, reaching as high as AAA, Davis moved on to become an assistant coach with the Univeristy of Florida, where he lead the Gators to four College World Series appearances in four years, includind a National Championship in 2017.

The Celebration of Baseball Banquet will be held at the Lethbridge Lodge where a buffett style dinner will be served.
