Last week the Junior Dawgs finished a fundraiser that helped raise close to $5000 for their program. The players sold boxes of burgers, steaks and bacon to friends and family members at a very reasonable price. Each box sold raised a little bit of money for the program. Hundreds of boxes later, the program came out with a lot of happy customers. As barbeque season is just around the corner, the meat couldn't have come at a better time. The response so far has been fantastic, and with the money raised the Junior Dawgs program can look to provide better equipment and services for their players. 

The Junior Dawgs are leaving for Pasco, Washington this weekend. They will be competing against some of the top teams in the Pacific Northwest. The Prairie Baseball Academy would like to wish the kids luck as they aim to show the US teams what they are all about.
